The Pocket Devils were the creation of multi-talented musician/actor Jonathan Lewis Owen. In the 1990's, the band made a wealth of uncompromising, kick ass singles.

The Pocket Devils were the first artist signing for Pop Music Records, back in 1996. They hailed from Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales and their debut CD single contained the tracks "Walking On Water", "Take Me Away" and "Chemical Valley High". The vinyl collector's version contained "Walking On Water" and "Take Me Away". It was released in the U.K. through Fluffy Bunny (with distribution by Pinnacle) and was produced by Julian Standen, who produced The Lemonheads' "Mrs. Robinson". Julian has also worked with Siouxsie & The Banshees and China Drum, among others.
